Regis Epic0 is the first Italian electric vehicle dedicated to the transport of goods in urban areas, designed with the standard automotive norms. Epic0 is your ideal partner to ensure deliveries in urban centers, in respect of the environment.
Safety :
The priority has been given to safety. The vehicle consists of a body clearly derived from the car, designed and manufactured with elements that guarantee both active and passive safety for passengers. Despite being designed in the category of quadricycles, we have performed all the virtual crash tests in different conditions of use and situations, up to the speed of 50 km / h.
CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY:
In order to guarantee an optimum development of our vehicles we master all the phases of the vehicle design in-house.
We also have several systems patented by us, such as the engine, transmission, control unit
LMU) and the battery pack with latest generation cells.
LMU is the heart of our powertrain, designed and manufactured by Mecaprom Motors with proprietary technology, for the optimal management of its electric vehicle. The device has been designed to manage the vehicle's electro-electronic system in complete safety, in accordance with the regulations of the automotive sector.
During the journey, the LMU interprets the driver's requests according to the driving style and the performance required by the vehicle's controls, determining the optimum torque values that the engine should produce, also on the basis of the battery status information received from the control electronics realized by the BMS (Batterymanagement System).
The LMU is primarily responsible for smooth driving and energy recovery during braking, as well as for providing information on the status of the traction system during operation, while in support it assists the diagnostic services in accordance with the UDS Protocol.
